In order to raise a bit of money for deaf children I am doing a sponsored travel whilst we journey around the globe. The object is to travel by as many different means of transport as I can, hopefully a few interesting and unusual ones along the way. I am doing this as part of our Guide Troop's contribution to 'Changing the World' to mark the Girl Guides centenary year in aid of providing support to deaf children in the UK.

18	30 January	Hire car Rented for our time around the Perth area.
19	2 February	Pleasure Cruiser Mandurah Canal Cruise, Baggage even got to drive the boat!
	10 February	Toyota Ascent Collected at Ayers Rock and used to drive to Alice Springs.
20	13 February	Desert Camel A ride in the McDonnell Range foothills
21	15 February	Nissan 4WD Jeep Hired for time remaining in Australia
22	16 February	Light Aircraft Flight from Hervey Bay to Lady Elliot Island
23	17 February	Glass Bottomed Boat Sailing along section of Great Barrier Reef
	18 February	An even lighter aircraft Used for the flight back to Hervey Bay, but they will not le me count it as different!
24	21 February	Brisbane Translink Train Electric train from Deagin to Brisbane South Bank and back
25	23 February	Kayak A river paddle near Dicky Beach
26	28 February	Monorail Darling harbour to Sydney town centre
	1 March	Sydney Harbour Ferry As I rode on a Star Ferry in Hong Kong guess I cannot count this one
27	5 March	Mountain Cable Driven Railway Down into the Jamison Valley in the Blue Mountains
	5 March	Cable Car Blue Mountains Again not allowed to count, but this is very different from the cable car we rode at Ngong Ping?
	5 March	Skyway Blue Mountains Mum says this is just a big cable car

30	21st March	Rowing Boat A row up and down the Avon
31	23rd March	Hagglund A rather bumpy ride
	25th March	Transfer coach We had to take a short ride in this to get to our boat so we could go whale watching.

	30th March	Cable car up Bob's Peak We took this cable car to get to the top of Bob's Peak where we got fantastic views down across the town.

	1st April	Pedalo I sailed around lake Wanaka, my big brother did most of the peddaling.
36	4th April	Steam Train We rode the Kingston Flyer on our way from Queenstown to Te Anau.
	4th April	Boat on lake Te Anau We took this boat to sail across the lake to see the glow work caves
	4th April	Wooden Barge Used to travel through the Glow Worm caves so we could see the worms glowing.
	5th April	Boat on Milford Sound We sailed the Fjords on this boat and saw soem wonderful views.
	10th April	Toyota Rav4 Used to travel around New Zealand's north island.
	14th April	Kayak Paddling around Days Bay
37	18th April	Pushbike Cycling around Martinborough with Mum and Dad as they visit the wineries to taste the fayre.
38	3rd May	Tiki Tiki Bike A guided tour around the Auckland harbour area.
39	4th May	Wheelchair After I damaged my toe I spent an afternoon in this at the zoo because walking became quite painful.
	5th May	Auckland Harbour Ferry We took a cruise around the harbour and out under the harbour bridge for Mum and Dad's 25th anniversary.
	10th May	Twin Cab Truck The car we had booked for our fortnight in Fiji was not available and we ended up with this instead. Mum won't let me count this though!
40	15th May	Horse Ride In the rain along a Fijian beach
	17th May	Zip Fiji Dad reckons this is a genuine mode of transport, after all it got us from a to b! Mum won't allow it!
	21st May	Fijian Twin Hull Canoe Converted to a tourist boat and punted around the river
	24th May	Wiki Wiki The articulated inter terminal shuttle at Honolulu airport, I will not count it, but it is the first articulated bus I have been on!
	24th May	Dodge Charger Our chariot for two weeks on Hawaii
	31st May	Pearl Harbour Shuttle We sailed in this to get across the harbout to see the Arizona Memorial.
41	27th May	Outrigger Canoe Used to get across to Mokauea Island for our part in their restoration work
42	27th May	Twin Hull Canoe Used to get back from the island
	1st June	Kualoa Ranch Tour Bus We rode on this to get around the ranch an look at the moview sets.
	2nd June	Surf Board I rode the waves of Waikiki on this!
	7th June	Disabled Taxi We had to ride in one of these to get from the airport to our hotel as we could not fit all of our luggage in a normal one.
	9th June	Alcatraz Clipper Our transport to Alcatraz, thankfully it came back to let us escape!
43	10th June	San Francisco Cable Car Great fun hanging off the side as you ride up the hills
	10th June	Circular Escalator I know I won't count it, but it was really cool!
44	10th June	Historic San Francisco Trolley Bus We used this to get back along the harbour front to our hotel.
	11th June	Mountain Bike I know we have used bikes before, but never in such a great place! Anyway it was a good pic.
	11th June	San Francisco Harber Ferry Used to get back to the city after our ride over the Golden Gate Bridge.
45	12th June	WWII DUKW We had a tour of San Francisco then a sail around the bay
	12th June	Bunny Rabbit OK so I know this one does not count, but I rode it on Pier 39 and it was fun!
	13th June	Jeep Laredo Our transport for getting from San Francisco to Vegas.
	13th June	Monterey Trolley Bus Not quite the same as a San Franciscan one so I have not counted it!
	16th June	LA Metro Used to get into Hollywood from Pasadena.
46	16th June	Open Top Minibus Used to tour the homes of the stars around Hollywood.
47	17th June	Gondola We rode on this around the indoor waterways of the Venetian Hotel.
48	19th June	Feet We saved using this for a special occasion and I guess crossing the state line between Nevada and Arizona counts!
	21st June	Orlando International Airport Monorail
	21st July	Dodge Charger & Honda Accord The Dodge Charger was the car we used to get around during our time in Florida. The Honda Accord is Katie's car, I rode around in that also.
49	3rd July	At Orlando Speed World when we went to see Crash-a-rama I got to ride on a School Bus that was all set up for racing and later that evening got to see it getting bashed about a bit on the track. It did not win!
	16 July	Rubber Ring Used to get around the Lazy River at Disney's Typhon Lagoon - but can I count it as another mode?
50	14th August	Moving Walkway We had used a number of these during the trip but had not counted any of them, so here is the one we used to get into Universal Studios
51	19th August	Golf Cart We went out to dinner with my friend CJ and his parents, he gave me a ride in his golf cart
52	19th August	Go Kart The golf cart went fast, but not as fast as the go kart he gave me a ride in afterwards. I had to hang on so that I would not fall out!
